I juggle many hats, from Dancer to Yogi, to Reiki Practitioner to Tobacco Treatment Specialist. I am also a full-time Outpatient Therapist at Harmony Health Therapeutic Services. You might wonder how I balance so many things at once, and I can tell you now that it isn’t easy and it takes WORK.
THE HARDEST THING TO DO...
is move
As many of us do, I often feel stuck in many ways, questioning if I am doing the right things for myself and staying aligned to my goals. In order to work through, learning how to take care of my wellness has been key.
After going to therapy and trying out different wellness tools, I realized that MOVEMENT has helped me manage all the emotions, feelings, and stress that come with every day life.
It isn’t about being able to conquer it all… it’s about having the courage to take
another step forward.
Recently, I recognized that I have many avenues of movement and body work that I use to manage stress. I also recognized that there are so many connections between all of the types of movement, how our body is made and responds to movement, and how healing can go deeper than just the surface level of "feeling good" when we look deeper into these connections. I am excited to connect these realizations and apply them in the work I do with others.
